🎣🎣🎣 Competition Time – Largest salmon  caught 2019 🎣🎣🎣

The Board is running its largest salmon caught and returned competition during the 2019 salmon fishing season.

The competition has been run for two years with the first winner catching a 32lbs salmon in 2017 taken on the fly from the Moray Estates beat on the river Teith by Colin Wighton and last years winner being Philip Black who won it with a salmon from Lanrick Estate weighing 28lbs. Prizes have ranged from guided fishing on the Tay to a days fishing for two at Lanrick Estate.

We are running this competition again for the 2019 season. If you would like to enter, please send your entries to the Board by emailing board@forthdsfb.org  or tweet @ForthDSFB or messaging us via our facebook page.

submissions to the competition should include;
• Date and time, 
• river (and beat if appropriate)(must have been caught in the Forth District), 
• estimated weight, 
• estimated length
• your name and contact details.

The winner will be announced after the season closes with a mystery prize presented to the lucky angler.
