Lockdown Eased – Fishing Restarted
With the start of phase 1 of the move from lockdown announced today the Scottish Government has lifted the restriction on fishing.
Fishing can re- start from Friday 29th May subject to confirmation from the fishery owner, manager or club/association. Permission is still required to fish and all anglers should ensure they have a valid permit AND the fishery is open.
Please see guidance on fishing during this phase – there are still restrictions on travel and distancing and these must be followed to prevent a second spike and further lockdowns which might disrupt fishing during the autumn.
