Support for the Fisheries Sector During Covid-19

We understand that details of Government support for sporting tourism businesses has been clarified by Scottish Government. Such businesses will now be eligible for the £20M Creative, Tourism & Hospitality Enterprises Hardship fund, which can provide up to £25,000 to support businesses which are struggling during COVID-19. As sporting tourism businesses, fisheries businesses can check their eligibility and make an application as appropriate at https://findbusinesssupport.gov.scot/service/coronavirus/creative-or-tourism-and-hospitality-enterprises-hardship-fund

As demand for this support may be high across the rural sports tourism sector, please can you ensure that if you need support, apply as soon as possible. 

If you are a fishery within the Forth and have applied, please let us know the outcome as this will help us determine if this fund is suitable or if we need to lobby Government via Fisheries Management Scotland for further support for Fisheries across the Forth.
